WelcomeWe’re glad you stopped by. We created this site as an expanding resource for those who want to facilitate the inner and outer development of children. Our links page will guide you to more quality websites and our blog will give you a place to share and learn with others who are interested in the wellness of children and families. Now you can become a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance® AND become certified to teach yoga to children at the same time! Once you've completed our comprehensive training, you will be a qualified RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) able to share the gift of yoga with both children and adults. What's New?YOGA FOR CHILDREN IN THE BAHAMAS Our Director of Training, Mira Binzen E-RYT, will again be a guest instructor at the Sivananda Bahamas Yoga Retreat on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. She will be teaching a one-week Yoga for Children course in this lovely setting from February 28-March 6, 2010. This course provides a comprehensive approach to teaching Yoga to children. Registration is open to all Yoga practitioners, to certified Yoga teachers from all traditions and to professionals working with children (school teachers, sports instructors, pediatric practitioners and others) who have an established Yoga practice. What's Next?KNOW YOUR YOGA Our next 20-hour weekend training is Know Your Yoga: philosophy, history & ethics April 16-18 in Chicago, Illinois. This course is like a weekend getaway to India! You will be submerged in the ancient wisdom of this fascinating culture from which Yoga has evolved. We will explain the 3 gunas, 4 paths, 8 limbs, 196 sutras and 5 koshas, while we share a few great stories and a couple of myths. The weekend will be spent exploring the vast topic of yogic philosophy, history, culture and myth in an experiential and integrative way.
