We’re glad you stopped by.  We created this site as an expanding resource for those who want to facilitate the inner and outer development of children.  Our links page will guide you to more quality websites and our blog will give you a place to share and learn with others who are interested in the wellness of children and families.
 
Global Family Yoga provides tools, based in the science and art of yoga, for nurturing the development of children into the happiest, healthiest and most well balanced individuals they can be.  These tools include various training programs for those who care for and about kids.  Parents, teachers, health care workers and other professionals who work with young people can benefit by augmenting their expertise with these techniques.

Now you can become a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance® AND become certified to teach yoga to children at the same time!  Once you've completed our comprehensive training, you will be a qualified RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) able to share the gift of yoga with both children and adults.

KNOW YOUR YOGA

Our next 20-hour weekend training is Know Your Yoga: philosophy, history & ethics April 16-18 in Chicago, Illinois.

This course is like a weekend getaway to India!  You will be submerged in the ancient wisdom of this fascinating culture from which Yoga has evolved. We will explain the 3 gunas, 4 paths, 8 limbs, 196 sutras and 5 koshas, while we share a few great stories and a couple of myths. The weekend will be spent exploring the vast topic of yogic philosophy, history, culture and myth in an experiential and integrative way.

You do not have to be part of the certification program to participate in this fun and enlightening weekend.
